Apex Legends is experiencing a connection issue on all platforms, but acknowledged the situation and is working to correct it.

UPDATE 7:00 PM EST – Consoles are back! PC players still have a bit of waiting to do, though it might be worth trying for an occasional game.

UPDATE 6:16 PM EST – The servers are starting to come back on, multiple Twitch streamers have been spotted getting back into matches. However, the performance is still spotty and disconnections are being reported mid-match.

Original story as follows.

The team announced they were looking into a unnamed issue that affected PC, Xbox and PS4.

A fan asked if it was the “connecting to a lobby” issue, which Apex basically confirmed.

Apex Legends has exploded onto the scene ever since its surprise announcement and subsequent release on February 4. The game has been downloaded over 10 million times in the first 72 hours of its availability, with 1 million concurrent accounts playing during launch week.

Major organizations are already taking note of the esports potential of Apex and a ranked playlist may be on the way soon as well.
